As usual, as security improves, thieves find ways around the system!
The latest problem is that thieves have started to work out that it is easier to steal someone's car keys that it is trying to break into the car and bypass th now very sophisticated security systems within.
However, some manufacturers have begun to sell solutions to these problems.
AUTO-TXT sell a tracking system with the capability of knowing if the driver of the car is NOT the authorised user, even if they have the car keys! The system ultimately has the capability to allow the police to issue an electronic override to the key to immobilise the stolen vehicle!
